A 5-10 % early bird discount applies to tickets for all Savonlinna Opera Festival events bought by 30 September 2023. The early bird discount excludes Pot luck tickets, which are only sold in our online shop.
25 % OFF WITH A COMBO TICKET
See and experience more with the Combo Ticket! When you buy a ticket for one of our own productions (Nabucco, Don Giovanni or Lohengrin), we’ll give you a generous 25 % discount for your ticket for a visiting production (The Bartered Bride or Káťa Kabanová).
The discount applies when you buy tickets for both our own and a visiting production. The offer is valid until 30 September, 2023 (members until January 31, 2024) at Lippupiste ticket agents and the Opera Festival ticket sales. When you purchase tickets for our own production at the Lippu.fi online store, you will receive a link that grants you the discount price for the visiting production. The discount is not available for tickets bought via R-kioski outlets.
GROUPS
Groups of 20 or more people are entitled to a 10 % group discount. The group discount is not available for tickets bought online. The group discount cannot be combined with the early bird discount.
TRAVEL AGENT COMMISSION
The commission for travel agents is 10 % of the ticket price. Please note that the commission is only granted for tickets bought at the Opera Festival Box Office.
MEMBERSHIP
Members of the Savonlinna Opera Festival Patrons’ Association (Silver, Gold, Platinum) are entitled to a 10 % discount for tickets to all Savonlinna Opera Festival events. The offer is valid for Silver members until 31 January 2024 upon proof of membership. For Gold and Platinum members the offer is valid throughout the year. STUDENTS AND CHILDREN
Students and children (aged 16 and under) are entitled to a 25 % discount for regular priced tickets to all Savonlinna Opera Festival events at Olavinlinna Castle (excluding box seats). The discount does not apply to Pot luck tickets and cannot be combined with any other discount. Proof of concession must be shown both at the time of purchase and at the door. Lippu.fi conditions of sale apply to tickets purchased at Lippu.fi outlets.
BOX TICKETS
The box seat ticket includes:
- A private entrance to Olavinlinna Castle
- Seats in the Box of the Opera Festival, offering a good view to the stage and quick access during intermission
- A private space before the performance and during intermission in the Central Hall
- Dedicated restroom facilities
- Savonian delicacies, also known as “sapakset” and sparkling wine during the intermission
- Introduction to the opera piece by an opera expert prior to the performance
- Greetings from the Opera Festival management during intermission
- A welcome package including the performance program and souvenir from the Opera Festival
We only reserve the box for individuals who are 18 years or older.
SERVICE FEES
Standard Lippu.fi service fees apply. We reserve the right to make changes to the fees during the season. Any such changes will also apply to unpaid reservations made at an earlier date.
Tickets €30-34.99, service fee is €3.60 / ticket
Tickets €35-44.99, service fee is €4.10 / ticket
Tickets €45 and over, service fee is €4.60 / ticket

Tickets with invoice to the consumer €10.00/order.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for any amount and can be purchased at the Savonlinna Opera Festival Box Office. Gift vouchers for select amounts are also sold in the online shop and at all full service Lippu.fi outlets (not R-kiosks).
Vouchers
Tickets to the Savonlinna Opera Festival can be paid for with Smartum and Edenred vouchers at the Savonlinna Opera Festival Box Office. The Opera Festival Box Office and telephone sales also accept SmartumPay as a payment method. The vouchers accepted by individual Lippu.fi outlets are listed on each voucher issuer’s website and at lippu.fi/en/help/outlets/. Vouchers can be used to buy tickets for personal use only. This means they are not valid for gift vouchers, for example.
Flexible tickets
A flexible ticket (+ €10 / ticket) can be exchanged for another ticket of the same or higher value for the same or different production, subject to availability. The exchange must take place by 31 May 2024. Should the new ticket be more expensive, the customer will pay the difference in price. A service fee applies for all ticket exchanges, and any previous service fees will not be reimbursed. Flexible tickets can be changed at the Savonlinna Opera Festival Box Office.
Potluck tickets
Each Potluck ticket costs €100 and entitles the holder to the best available seat which has a minimum value of 140 € (box seats not included). Potluck tickets are available until the end of the day before the performance. The ticket with a numbered seat will be delivered by 3 p.m. on the day of the performance to the email address supplied with the order. The ticket must be either printed or shown on the screen of a smart device upon entrance to the castle.
Seats for Potluck tickets are allocated in the order of purchase, starting with the best available seats selected by the Opera Festival. The Opera Festival cannot guarantee adjacent seats to those who buy two or more Potluck tickets. The number of Potluck tickets is limited and no discounts apply. Pricing
We practice flexible pricing. The price of a ticket varies by seat category, production and the demand for tickets. The price of a seat may change during the season. The easiest way to find the latest pricing information and the seat map with available seats is to visit the Lippu.fi website.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable, apart from flexible tickets, which can be exchanged. Should a performance be cancelled due to force majeure, customers will receive a refund in exchange for their ticket.
The Savonlinna Opera Festival takes no responsibility for lost tickets.
