Enjoy your interval refreshments without any hassle and in an environment rich in atmosphere by booking in advance via the Suur-Savo Cooperative sales service. Remember to book 1 workday in advance.
Refreshments can be booked at any of four points: the Vesiportti (Water Gate) immediately after the entrance to the Castle, the Linnantupa (Castle Hall) off the passage leading to the auditorium, the Paksu bastioni (Thick Tower) on the far right of the auditorium, or on the terrace on the castle walls. The last of these has a fantastic view. We will recommend the point most easily accessible from your seat. The menu is the same in each. There are this year more interval refreshment points than before. You can also order and pay on the spot if you do not wish to book in advance.
By ordering in advance, you can, however, be sure of enjoying your interval refreshments without any hassle, and even a seat in the Castle Hall. You then have time to enjoy your refreshments without having to rush!
Eat at the Linnantupa Restaurant before the opera
You can also book a table for your party at the Linnantupa Restaurant before the opera. The restaurant serves a sumptuous buffet.
