That’s something we fully understand – The Magic Flute has been a quintessential shared experience at the Savonlinna Opera Festival for 50 years. We also found a production of Fiddler on the Roof, in which a glimmer of hope shines through the tears.
As our summer premiere, we present Romeo and Juliet, the heart-wrenching story of young lovers. Our summer of opera will also echo with laughter, the thrilling voices of international stars, and something totally new.
