EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT
Until 30.9.2024 there is a 10% discount on all tickets for Opera Festival events.
COMBO TICKET -20 %
See and experience more with a combo ticket. When you buy a ticket to any performance of one of our own productions (Turandot, Macbeth, Boris Godunov, The Last Temptations), you will receive 20% discount on any other performance (not applicable to Turandot performances).
This discount is valid until 30.9.2024 at Lippupiste outlets and at the Opera Festival ticket office, when you buy a ticket for a performance of one of our own productions at the same time. When you shop online at lippu.fi, you will receive a link with the tickets enabling you to make your purchase at the discounted price. This offer is not available at R-kiosks.
GROUPS
Groups of 20 or more people are entitled to a 10 % group discount. The group discount is not available for tickets bought online. The group discount cannot be combined with the early bird discount. The review dates for group bookings 2025 are 31.1.2025, 31.3.2025 and 31.5.2025.
TRAVEL AGENT COMMISSION
The commission for travel agents is 10 % of the ticket price. Please note that the commission is only granted for tickets bought at the Opera Festival Box Office. Confirmation dates for international travel agencies’ reservations are 31.1., 31.3. and 31.5.2025. Confirmation dates for Finnish travel agency reservations are 28.2., 30.4. and 10.6.2025.
MEMBERSHIP OF THE SUPPORTERS’ CLUB
Members (Silver, Gold, Platinum) receive 10% discount on all Opera Festival tickets in advance of general sales. The discount is valid until 31.1.2025 for the Silver level and all year round for the Gold and Platinum levels. This offer is available on presentation of a membership card at the Opera Festival ticket office or from the members’ dedicated website link. Members’ ticket reservations must be redeemed by 31.1.2025. See more detailed member level benefits at operafestival.fi/membership.
STUDENTS AND CHILDREN
Students and children (16 years and under) receive 25% discount on the normal price of all Olavinlinna Opera Festival tickets. The discount does not apply to Pot luck tickets and cannot be combined with any other discount. Ticket buyers must present proof of their entitlement to the discount at the time of purchase and at the venue. For purchases from Lippupiste outlets, Lippupiste’s own delivery conditions apply.
DISABILITY CARD
We are part of the Disability Card support programme and aim to serve our customers with special needs in the best possible way. If the Disability Card is marked with an ‘A’, we always provide free access for a carer or support person. Otherwise, the carer’s ticket price is reduced by 50%. A condition for the free ticket is that the support person will escort the disabled customer to their seating location.
BOX
Box tickets include:
- A dedicated entrance to Olavinlinna
- Box seats in Olavinlinna, with a good view of the stage and quick access to interval facilities
- A private area to use before the performance and during the interval in the Central Hall
- Private toilet facilities
- Savonian tapas snacks (‘sapas’) and sparkling wine during the interval
- Greetings from the Opera Festival management during the interval
- Welcome pack containing the performance programme and a souvenir of the Opera Festival
The box is a designated area for drinks service, and is reserved only for persons over 18 years of age.
SERVICE CHARGES
We follow Lippupiste’s general pricing for service charges. Alterations to the charges are possible during the sales period and will also apply to previously made, unredeemed reservations.
For tickets between €30 and €34.99, the service charge is €3.60 per ticket.
For tickets between €35 and €44.99, the service charge is €4.10 per ticket.
For tickets costing €45 or more, the service charge is €4.60 per ticket.
In addition, any applicable ordering, delivery and payment method charges will be added to the total purchase price. Details of these can be found here.
Invoice charge €10 per order.
GIFT GARD
You can specify the value of the gift card and buy it at the Opera Festival ticket office. Gift cards can also be purchased online and at full-service outlets for predefined amounts. Gift vouchers are valid for one year and are only extended in exceptional circumstances.

PRICING, CHANGES AND PROMOTIONS
We follow a flexible pricing policy. The ticket price is determined not only by the location of the seat, but also by the production and the demand for tickets. Seat prices may change during the sales period. The easiest way to find price information and a diagram showing available seats is to visit Lippupiste’s website lippu.fi. Promotional benefits and memberships cannot be combined with other concessions. All offers are only valid for the duration of the promotion.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Tickets are not returnable and cannot be cancelled. Standard admission tickets are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Flexible tickets are exchangeable within the limits set out in the conditions of sale.
In the event of cancellation of a performance due to force majeure, the customer will be refunded the ticket price upon presentation of the ticket.
The Savonlinna Opera Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets.
