By joining the Opera Festival Patron’s Association as a member, you can enrich your opera experience with a wide range of exclusive benefits while also contributing to the future of the Opera Festival. Your membership fee is an important source of support and is used directly to fund festival activities. Join now and start enjoying your membership benefits right away. Membership is valid for one calendar year. As a member of the Patron’s Association, you have the right to participate in the association’s annual meeting, which is held in September–October.

TICKET BENEFITS

Early bird benefit –20% valid for 14 days before public sales begin. The offer applies to the Summer 2027 programme, which will be released in June 2026.
Year-round advance discount: -10%. The offer applies to both the Summer 2026 and the Summer 2027 programmes.
Complimentary seat upgrade (member + guest once per membership year): At the Savonlinna Opera Festival ticket office no later than three hours before the performance, subject to availability.

TRAVEL, EVENTS & ARTS CONTENT

Free opera introductions (member + guest): Held on opera evenings in the Wivi Lönn Hall at the Old Elementary School (Puistokatu 5).
Backstage tour (member + guest): Members will be informed of tour schedules at a later date. Advance registration is required. Limited availability.
Open rehearsals (member + guest): Members will be informed of rehearsal schedules at a later date. Advance registration is required. Limited availability.
Friends of Opera evenings: These events immerse participants in the atmosphere of the Opera Festival with live music and topical guest speakers. The evenings are organized for partners, members, and media. Members will be informed separately about event dates and programmes. Limited availability.
Opera Salon webinars: In these sessions, members get behind-the-scenes insights directly from the artists and creators. The salons feature discussions on productions, art, and working in opera, with opportunities for members to ask questions. The webinars are held online via Teams, and members will be informed separately about schedules and guest speakers.
Member trip: A possible opera trip at a special member rate. Details will be communicated to members separately. Limited availability.

Dedicated priority access route to Olavinlinna Castle (member + guest)
Members’ lounge during intermission in the Congress Hall at Olavinlinna (member + guest)
