Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana

7 years of rhytmic rapture, three records and chart success made Ricky-Tick Big Band & Julkinen Sana a distinctive jazz and hip hop phenomenon, which defies genre boundaries.

The big band conducted by Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen and the leading Finnish rap artists Paleface, Tommy Lindgren and Redrama parted ways at the height of their success after three sell-out concerts at the Tavastia club in Helsinki in December 2019. Ricky-Tick Big Band and its rapper brothers headed in different directions to pursue their own adventures.

”This concert is a happy reunion for us all and a very special occasion! I believe the evening will be one big party for the band and subsequently for the audience too,” says conductor Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen.

We’ve been missing these good vibes!

Tickets are already available for members, and ticket sales for the general public will start on 21 February.
