DISABILITY CARD AND WHEELCHAIR SPACES
Savonlinna Opera Festival is a supporter of the Disability Card, and we want to provide the best possible service to our customers who require special assistance.
One assistant or support person accompanying a Disability Card holder may attend Opera Festival events free of charge when the card carries an A marking. The free assistant place is conditional on the assistant or support person accompanying the customer to their seat. The number of assistant places is limited.
Wheelchair spaces are also available for purchase in the online shop. Please note that the venue is not fully accessible. Further information on accessibility can be found here.
The number of wheelchair spaces is limited and sold subject to availability. A wheelchair space is intended for customers who use a wheelchair during the performance. An assistant’s place is automatically included in the price of a wheelchair ticket and cannot be purchased or used as a separate ticket.
If you require wheelchair transport, please contact the ticket office no later than three days before the performance.

FLEXIBLE TICKET
A Flexible Ticket (+€10 / ticket) entitles the holder to exchange their ticket for a ticket of equal or higher value for a performance of the same or another production, subject to availability. The ticket must be exchanged no later than five days before the performance date. After this, no exchange is possible. When exchanging for a more expensive ticket, the customer pays the difference. When exchanging for a less expensive ticket type, the difference is not refunded. A service fee is charged at the time of exchange. Previously paid service fees are not refunded.
PAJATSO TICKET
A ticket priced at €106.60 entitles the holder to the best available seated ticket, which is at minimum a price category 4 seat (excluding box seats). Pajatso tickets can be purchased up to the day before the performance. The seated ticket will be delivered by 3 pm on the day of the performance to the email address provided in the order. The ticket can be printed or presented on a mobile device.
Pajatso ticket seats are allocated in order of purchase, starting from the best available seat of our choosing. We cannot guarantee adjacent seats for purchasers of multiple Pajatso tickets. Pajatso tickets are available in limited numbers and no further discounts apply to the Pajatso ticket price. The event organiser reserves the right to determine the number of Pajatso tickets available.
PRICING, CAMPAIGNS AND USE OF DISCOUNTS
Savonlinna Opera Festival operates flexible pricing. The price of a ticket is influenced not only by the location of the seat, but also by the production, the time of the performance and ticket demand. The price of a seat may change during the sales season. Up-to-date pricing information and a seating map showing available seats can be found on the Lippupiste website here.
Discounts are calculated on the standard ticket price unless otherwise stated in the terms of a campaign or benefit. Discounts, member benefits, campaign benefits, group discounts, student discounts, child discounts and other benefits cannot be combined in the same purchase. Discounts are not applied retroactively to tickets already purchased.
Discounts and campaign benefits apply only to the ticket types, performances and price categories specifically stated in connection with each benefit. All campaigns are valid only during the campaign period. Campaign discounts and campaign tickets are available for purchase in the online shop only, unless otherwise stated in connection with the campaign.
CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY
Tickets are non-refundable and non-returnable. Tickets cannot be redeemed, exchanged or refunded. A Flexible Ticket may be exchanged subject to the restrictions set out in the terms of sale.
A performance may be cancelled in the event of force majeure. In such cases, the ticket price will be refunded to the customer upon presentation of the ticket and the information required to process the refund.
Savonlinna Opera Festival accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets.
Savonlinna Opera Festival accepts no responsibility for indirect costs incurred by the customer, such as travel, accommodation or other arrangement costs.
Cash is not accepted at the Festival office ticket sales.
LATE ARRIVAL AND ADMISSION
Customers must arrive at the venue in good time before the performance begins. Late-arriving customers may be directed to their seats only at a time deemed appropriate by staff, such as during the interval or at another suitable point in the performance. Late arrival does not entitle the customer to a refund or compensation.
RECORDING, PHOTOGRAPHY AND DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR
Recording, photographing or otherwise capturing performances in any form is prohibited without separate permission from Savonlinna Opera Festival. Customers must not disturb the performance, other customers, performers or staff. The event organiser has the right to remove from the event any person who causes a disturbance, endangers safety or violates the event’s guidelines. Removal does not entitle the customer to a refund.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR ORDER DETAILS
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all order details — including the performance, date, time, ticket type, seat information, contact details and any applicable discount entitlements — are correct before completing the purchase. The customer must check the ticket and order confirmation immediately after purchase. Any errors must be reported to the ticket office without delay.
